OnlyIdeas is a research reading community operated by LazyingArt LLC. By posting or requesting public publication, you agree to these terms.

Discuss ideas with care

No harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual exploitation, obscene content, spam, impersonation, doxxing, or illegal content. Do not publish anyone’s private information. Be accurate about sources and distinguish evidence from speculation. Do not use the service to violate another person’s rights.

Respect authors

Only upload documents you are authorized to process. Open access does not automatically permit republication. Public sharing requires an appropriate license or documented author permission, source attribution, and verification that figures are included in that permission. Shared is the default import choice; choosing it requests publication after review. Choose Only me for a private document. Public papers are mirrored to GitHub and may be copied or forked; public licenses and third-party copies may survive deletion.

Community review

Public comments and paper submissions are held for review before publication. We may decline or remove material and suspend abusive accounts. Report a comment in its menu, block its author, or email contact@lazying.art with a paper title/link and the issue. Blocking hides contributions and prevents interaction in both directions. You can unblock readers from Profile.

Reading credits and optional subscriptions

Reading credits are non-transferable database credits with no cash value. They are not cryptocurrency and cannot be withdrawn or traded. When enabled, the app shows private-import costs before submission and refunds failed imports and unused reservations. Shared imports do not cost credits. Approved, successfully published unique contributions can earn credits, subject to the displayed daily limit and duplicate checks. Existing papers remain readable.

Optional monthly plans provide new transcription pages, new-paper fetches, non-expiring reading credits and a higher daily agent allowance. Reader: 200 pages, 60 fetches, 200 credits and 40 agent messages per day; Researcher: 1,200 pages, 300 fetches, 1,200 credits and 80 messages; Studio: 2,600 pages, 700 fetches, 2,600 credits and 160 messages. Web monthly prices are USD2.99, USD14.99 and USD29.99 respectively, subject to any applicable tax shown at checkout. Native stores show localized prices and availability before purchase.

Eligible new subscribers receive a seven-day free trial with 50 transcription pages and 10 new-paper fetches per OnlyIdeas account. After the trial, your selected monthly plan renews automatically at the displayed price unless canceled before the trial ends. Provider eligibility rules also apply. Free accounts receive 30 new transcription pages and 10 fetches per calendar month when quota billing is enabled. Existing papers and cached translations stay free to read. Monthly quotas reset at renewal and do not accumulate. Unused reading credits do not expire. Private document imports still use the separate credits shown before import. Failed imports release quota reservations; uncertain conversion receipts remain reserved until reconciled. Duplicate/reused papers use no new transcription quota.

Manage or cancel web subscriptions in the Stripe billing portal, Apple subscriptions in Apple subscription settings, and Android subscriptions in Google Play. Canceling preserves the current paid period and credit balance. A refunded purchase reverses its credit grant and associated entitlement; a negative balance prevents new private imports until replenished. File-size, per-document and service capacity limits still apply. Contact support about undelivered benefits or an incorrect balance.

Restore purchases using the same OnlyIdeas account. A purchase cannot be moved between accounts. Deleting an OnlyIdeas account does not cancel a subscription: cancel through the original payment provider first. Purchases and refunds are administered by that provider under its terms and applicable consumer rights. The app only offers purchases when its payment integration is available.

AI and availability

Conversions and AI requests have page, file-size and daily limits. AI outputs may be inaccurate and are not professional advice. We may change availability to keep the service reliable. Your private uploads and conversations are not published by an agent without your explicit request. Our Privacy Policy explains processing and deletion.
